Manual handling injuries often come from ordinary tasks that slowly become routine. People rush, lift from awkward positions, carry more than they should, or skip the quick check that would have changed the safest approach.
Good training helps teams pause before the task: test the load, clear the route, use equipment where available, and ask for help before weight or shape becomes unsafe. It also helps supervisors spot patterns before they become incidents.
The goal is not to make people afraid of movement. It is to give them practical judgement, safer technique, and the confidence to challenge poor habits before someone gets hurt.
